Capturing Stephany + Eric’s elopement in Yosemite was incredible! Eric was originally going to propose on their five year relationship anniversary in March 2020 in Yosemite, but he was not able to because of covid-19. Instead, it was the perfect fall elopement location for them!

Elopement Spots in Yosemite National Park

Yosemite has so many incredible elopement spots! I love capturing adventure couple sessions and elopements in Yosemite and know lots of amazing locations to get exceptional photos. If you aren’t sure where you exactly want to elope, I am here to help! This elopement was specifically in Yosemite Valley, which is centrally located within Yosemite National Park. Then, we took blue hour photos at Tunnel View overlooking the vast views of Yosemite Valley. Aren’t the views amazing? 

Stephany + Eric: Their Story

Stephany + Eric first met in community college in a photography class. Eric was late to class, and even though the classroom was extremely empty, he chose to sit right next to Stephany! Since then, they became each other’s best friend. They started to be really interested in one another once they transferred to university, and officially started dating after 5 years of being friends. On March 29, 2020, Eric took Stephany up to Lake Arrowhead to go “take pictures.” After he set up the tripod in front of a really pretty cabin on the trail, he put on the self timer. When Stephany thought it clicked, he pulled her back and proposed. He was actually recording the whole thing on his camera! Then, in October 2021, they eloped in Yosemite and began their married life!
