We traveled to a gorgeous Caribbean Island for an epic St Lucia destination wedding for Kelly and Ryan (yes, like the office!). This was such a picture perfect Caribbean island for their wedding day. Kelly + Ryan’s Love Story | A Romantic St Lucia Destination Wedding

Mutual friends introduced them in the spring of 2014, these friends hosted a party for their wedding party and that’s when they officially met. Those friends tried hard to set them up… and it worked. HOWEVER, Ryan was playing “hard to get” (his words, Kelly thinks he was being shy) and Kelly had to reach out first to get the conversation going but Ryan did eventually ask her out on a first date and they eventually made the relationship “Facebook official” at Ryan’s cousins wedding a couple months later.

At this time Kelly was still in college and Ryan was living one and a half hours away. For the next two years we dated longish distances seeing each other almost every weekend. When Kelly graduated, she got a new job close to Ryan and moved in to start their life together. This is when they realized they were a perfect match.

Fast-forward six and a half years Ryan finally popped the question. It was no surprise to be honest, as we got engaged at a resort in St. Lucia which we were scoping out for a future wedding spot. At the resort, Ryan worked with a staff member to surprise Kelly with a beautiful dinner in a private room with flower pedals and Champaign. Ryan was very nervous (even though he knew the answer) but was finally able to muster up the courage to pop the question.
