Love stories don’t always follow the typical path, and for Stephayne and Leon, their journey was nothing short of magical! What started as a spontaneous meeting in Oahu at a food truck soon turned into a romantic elopement and a lifetime of memories. Altogether, their elopement shoot at Kualoa Regional Park and Kaaawa Beach on Oahu, Hawaii, was a dream! A Chance Meeting at a Food Truck in Oahu
Stephayne and Leon’s story began almost a year ago on the sunny shores of Oahu!
“Leon and I met in Oahu 11 months ago at a food truck near the Hilton Hawaiian village. My bestie was ordering us a pineapple smoothie, and I was drying off after a swim at some tables. Leon had just ordered a cheeseburger and kept making intense eye contact with me (that I kept trying to brush off). However, he has the most the beautiful blue eyes and warm face/smile and I just had to smile back at him 🙂 He joined my bestie and I on a hike later that afternoon and treated us both to dinner.
The two of us then had the most romantic walk on the beach where we had our first kiss (Leon dipped me)! Leon lives in Germany, I live in San Francisco. For the past 11 months, Leon has flown to see me in SF, every month! We’re in love and I’m moving to Germany after this Hawaii trip.”
It’s truly amazing how fate brought them together, and therefore, their chemistry was undeniable. As a result, their connection made capturing their love even more special.
A Perfect Photoshoot at Kualoa Regional Park and Kaaawa Beach
For their elopement session, Stephayne and Leon wanted two iconic Hawaiian locations to serve as the backdrop. First, Kualoa Regional Park offered lush greenery, towering mountains, and a stunning view of the ocean. Then, we ventured to Kaaawa Beach, where the soft golden sand and calm waves provided a serene and romantic setting for their photos.
Throughout the shoot, the connection between Stephayne and Leon was so natural. I loved capturing the moments of love between them! From the quiet, intimate moments at the beach to the gorgeous mountain views at Kualoa Regional Park, the photos captured the essence of their relationship perfectly.
