For their anniversary getaway, Dani and James chose to take a road-trip up north to the coast of Mendocino! This made for the perfect opportunity to schedule in an adventurous couple’s session. You really don’t ever need an excuse to book a shoot for you and your partner, because every day together is special. But it’s so fun to commemorate an anniversary with a photoshoot like this Redwood adventure with Dani + James. Documenting each year together, taking time to reflect and capture the season you are in is truly priceless.

Anniversary photos can really be anything you want them to be. From a coffee shop date, to putting on your wedding dress again; the options are limitless! Dani and James are outdoor enthusiasts, so taking the day to explore the Redwoods trails and frolic along the Mendocino coast just made sense! Choose a location or an activity that really signifies your relationship. You know like in the Bachelor, when the producers make at least one couple go skydiving because it means taking some leap of faith or something! Really though, the most important thing is that you have a fun time hanging with your babe, making more memories to last a lifetime.

The list of incredible locations for a NorCal photoshoot is SO LONG, and this place is pretty high up there. I loveee how magical and diverse each landscape is out here in California; but the northern coast is something special. While I’m based in Redding, I have no problem hopping on a plane or hitting the road to meet our clients! For this session we started off the day wandering around the enchanting Redwood forest, and then hit the coast for even more epic photos! Dani and James were SO fun to hang out with, and their sweet and goofy personalities were such a joy to capture.
