Bri and Danny chose to have an intimate wedding day surrounded by their immediate family and the glorious California Redwoods. They took their time enjoying the morning, exchanging letters, preparing to say I do in the most serene setting. They met each other for a first look in the woods (after the HILARIOUS faux first look with the brother in the banana costume!!) And then we ran around the forest taking portraits before their intimate porch ceremony! I loved how their wedding was so intentional and included their family in each part of the day. It’s so beautiful to see everyone come together to make a couple’s wedding day perfect for them.
After the sweet ceremony in the woods, everyone celebrated with cake and champagne. We then headed out to the coast for some epic beach bridal portraits at sunset! The great thing about having an elopement like this is that you have the opportunity to take portraits in epic locations that aren’t as available on traditional wedding days. Not being as confined by a strict schedule means more time for photos in multiple locations! If you’re choosing an epic location like the central coast of California, you don’t want to miss out on documenting your time there.
We ran around the shoreline until the sun set behind the horizon and blue hour began. I finished up for the day and the newly weds headed back to their family to celebrate for the rest of the evening. It was the perfect end to the perfect day, and I’m so honored I got to be a part of Bri and Danny’s elopement.
