This Walker Ranch Wedding was an absolute dream to capture! Haleigh and Robert came together with their 2 kiddos, and all their closest friends and fam to celebrate their marriage! Everything was so beautifully designed, from the gorgeous styling of the bride to the succulent adorned wedding cake! I loved the auburn colored bridesmaid’s dresses and how well they matched the floral arrangements done by the amazing Olvera Farms!
Their outdoor reception was so perfectly set up with farmhouse tables, market lights strung up all around, and a gorgeous hanging macrame behind the sweetheart table!! ALL of the minimalist boho vibes at this wedding I’m obsessed! Be sure to check out all of the vendors linked below, and read the cute couples love story too!!
“We met through a mutual friend who was my boss at the time. She was telling me about her neighbor who she thought would be great for me. So of course I had to creep on his FB and eventually, I added him. That same night he slid in my DMs and we just got to talking and hit it off! We planned to go out on a date, but when I got to his house we started talking and never stopped! We never made it to dinner we just sat and talked and drank wine and laughed all night.
I know that sounds so cliche like every RomCom ever created but it happened. We immediately clicked. We had this connection that I couldn’t even explain, our attraction to each other was on another level and I remember always being so nervous around him cause it was almost scary how much we fit together. Unfortunately, it ended up being scary for both of us and after a few months, we went our separate ways. It just wasn’t the right time. Up until we met through my boss neither of us had ever even heard of the other or had ever seen the other, which was weird because we both have grown up in the same very small town for our entire lives and even had mutual friends! We are 7 years apart in age but I’d still think at some point our paths would have crossed.
After we split though it was like the universe put a magnet on us cause we ran into each other EVERYWHERE. We even ran into each other at an Oakland baseball game with thousands of people there! Every time we saw each other we would end up hanging out after; talking and laughing. But still it wasn’t the right time. About a year after we split we ran into each other AGAIN at Rite Aid and I didn’t see him at first but my daughter Calie did. She was about 4 then, and she took off running and screamed “Robby” and then jumped in his arms. He still tells me to this day that that was the moment he knew he was in love with me and we needed to be together. (I had already known for a while he was the one I’d grow old with)
The past 7 years we have grown in life and love, we bought a house together, have a son together, and now we are moving into the marriage chapter!”
