A Romantic + Classic Wedding at Moana Surfrider in Waikiki

Bride and groom posing on the beach

Rebecca and Elliot’s wedding at the Moana Surfrider in Waikiki, Honolulu was the perfect mix of timeless elegance and relaxed island vibes. Additionally, being nestled right on Waikiki Beach, this historic venue created the most stunning backdrop for their celebration. From the soft ocean views to the charm of the hotel’s architecture, every part of their day felt classic while still capturing the beauty of Hawaii.

Getting Ready and the First Look

Rebecca started her day with the team from Reveal Hair and Makeup, who gave her a fresh, radiant look that stayed flawless from morning until night. Not only did her gown from Janene’s Bridal feature delicate details, but it also had a fitted silhouette that looked incredible as she walked through the hotel and along the beach. Elliot looked equally sharp in his black tux, accented with a maile lei, a traditional Hawaiian touch that tied everything beautifully to the setting.

Ceremony Under the Palms at Moana Surfrider

The ceremony took place outdoors beneath the tall palm trees of the Moana Surfrider. The aisle led to a white draped arch adorned with florals by Belle De Jour. This framed the couple so beautifully against the tropical backdrop. Surrounded by their family and friends, Rebecca and Elliot exchanged vows with the sound of the ocean just steps away! It was the kind of ceremony that felt intimate yet grand, simply because of the setting.

Reception Details and Dancing the Night Away

The reception carried their elegant style into the evening. Tables were set with romantic floral centerpieces by Belle De Jour, accented by candles and modern mirrored details. The seating chart was sleek and minimal which complemented the overall aesthetic. Once the formalities wrapped up, Bliss DJs kept the energy high and the dance floor full! It was the perfect way to end their special day.
