I’m so excited to share Emma and Ben’s River House Wedding in the Santa Cruz Mountains! The couple had the most beautiful and intentional wedding ceremony that included Samoan traditions from the groom’s side of the family as well as a Hawaiian Lei exchange. They also had the BEST reception that included ice cream cones, a very lively dance floor, and a super fun bubble exit! My personal favorite was their first look in the redwoods where they read letters to each other before the ceremony!

Their Story

“It all started when I (Emma) got a new job during college at the student post office on-campus. On my first day I saw Ben walk in and was immediately smitten. Turning to my best friend (and now maid of honor) Brooke, I said “WHO IS THAT GUY?” I made my crush pretty clear to him and pretty much did anything to try and be around him. And then eventually I asked him out…and we have been obsessed with each other ever since! During our time living in Santa Cruz, we loved walking to the lighthouse at Seabright Beach in the evenings. On the night Ben proposed, he was very adamant about us getting there in time for sunset and I had a feeling something was up. We walked over to the lighthouse and he asked me to marry him while we were watching the sunset!”
