6 Hawaii Locations for Your Oahu Elopement

Different options for your elopement ceremony, wedding couple photos, or for an adventure photoshoot while you’re here in Hawaii!

Crouching Lion

If you’re an adventurous couple willing to do a short hike, I highly recommend Crouching Lion! The views of the ocean and mountains are breathtaking, the colors of the scenery around you is so impressive, and it is a relatively private location (not TONS of tourists). This is a great location for adventure couple photos or a very small elopement ceremony looking over the water. It is a short hike to get there, but it’s pretty steep. You will want to hike up in normal clothes and change into wedding attire at the top! You can discover more photography and tips to know for this location in this blog post.

Kahana Bay

For classic, romantic beach photos, Kahana Bay is a great location! The sand is soft and white, and the water is the perfect crystal blue. Plus, the landscape is an excellent background for your intimate ceremony or couple photos! For more Kahana Bay elopement photography, you can check out this blog post! Can you see yourself getting married here?

The West Side

Are you looking for more of a rocky beach vibe for your Oahu elopement? The West Side is where you will want to be! You’ll have incredible views of the mountains, and you have spots with white sand or rocks. This Hawaii location is an outstanding option for any occasion! Plus, this is where the sun sets, so it is perfect for a sunset elopement! For tips and more elopement photography at the West Side, you can check out this blog post.

Ka’ena Point

Ka’ena Point is one of the dreamiest Hawaii locations (especially during sunset!). There’s room to host an intimate ceremony with family and friends overlooking the ocean, and the landscape all around is amazing. You can see more of what your elopement ceremony could potentially look like in this blog post! You’re right next to the ocean and the mountainside. Doesn’t it look incredible?

Kualoa Ranch

After exploring Kualoa Ranch with its gorgeous green landscape and mountains, you can visit the beach nearby! This Hawaii location is perfect for couples who want two completely different types of scenery during their elopement without needing to travel very far. To go more in depth about this Hawaii location, you can check out this blog post

On a Boat Off Waikiki

If you’re looking for an experience of a lifetime, I highly recommend renting a boat off of Waikiki! The views are so impressive, and it is a fun way to celebrate your elopement! As an adventure couple, you would love this experience. We can even jump in the water for some underwater photography! Check out this blog post for information on where you should rent your boat and what you should have prepared for your boating adventure.
